On November 26th, a delegation from O+berri (the Basque Institute for Healthcare Innovation - www.bioef.org) visited NIVEL to learn about NIVEL's research activitites, especially on the management of chronic diseases in the Netherlands. NIVEL staff members informed the delegation about research on self-management of chronic diseases, on quality of care from the patient's perspective, and on the use of electronic medical record based data for the evaluation of health care services.
