The Netherlands, as well as other Western countries, currently sees a change in hospital population towards older patients. This development is leading to calls for changes in the provision of care, in order to continue to meet the needs of patients. This thesis looks at how patient safety and quality of care for older hospitalised patients at risk for delirium can be improved, specifically focusing on the effects of e-learning on the implementation of FEP.
