Influenza viruses undergo frequent genetic and antigenic changes. Monitoring of vaccine effectiveness is important.

What is the influenza vaccine effectiveness among elderly in Europe?

Method
We estimatate the influenza vaccine effectiveness by using the 'test-negative case-control' method and the screening method with data from health registries and large electronic databases in Spain, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Scotland and England.
